Kurt Maile is Xiatech’s Chief Data & Analytics (DnA) Officer, where he leads the strategic direction and roadmap for Xiatech’s core DnA capabilities, across dimensions of people, organisation, data & tech, ultimately in order to ensure our customers can succeed and achieve the end-to-end value sought from their data investments.

Kurt has 20+ years experience in strategy, architecture, engineering and all things data, from microservices and integration, to modern data warehousing and data lakes, with particular experience in streaming, event driven data solutions.  He still codes in his day-to-day, for clients and for product engineering, and loves learning and exploring the art of the new data possible.

As one of the founding Xiatech partners, jointly responsible for the initial inception of the platform and evolving it to where it is today, Kurt has brought many years of hard data experience to bare in the Xiatech Xfuze platform, ensuring it is fit-for-purpose to solve current data problems while being flexible to adapt to the rapidly evolving data landscape.

Outside of work, Kurt loves all things sport, is a certified WSET wine nerd and is a travel addict, spending much of his 20’s & 30’s travelling the world over and learning there is more to the world than just Australia.
